Tikkurila Church

Arrival:

There is a pedestrian path in front of Tikkurila Church where service traffic is permitted. This allows passengers to be dropped off or picked up by private car or taxi.

Nearby is the City Hall, where there are two accessible parking spaces, and Tikkupark also offers plenty of accessible parking spaces close to the elevators. The nearest elevator access from Tikkupark to the church is located on the northern edge of Tikkurila Square.

The main entrance of the church opens automatically and has an audio guidance feature. The door to the inner courtyard has a ramp, but it does not have automatic opening or an electronic door button.

Access inside the building:

The church has barrier-free access throughout, and there is an elevator available.

Accessible toilet: Accessible toilets are located on the 1st and 2nd floors near the elevator.

Hearing loop: A hearing loop will be installed in the church hall and parish halls during autumn 2024.

Large-print and Braille books: A Finnish Braille hymnal is available upon request from the sexton.

The church’s facilities can be reserved for celebrations and meetings.
The halls on the first floor can be used separately or combined as needed. The number of people the spaces can accommodate depends on the layout. If table group seating is required, the capacities are as follows: Hall Usko 35 persons, Hall Voima 60 persons, and Hall Valo 50 persons.
